Welcome to Lighters. We all need a light sometimes; I’m not talking about the light for a smoke, but the light that brightens up our lives with fresh strength and vision. The Bible says in Proverbs, that people perish for a lack of vision. In our world today, it’s so easy to become disillusioned and disheartened through some of the troubles and challenges we face. Before we know it, we can feel heavy and down, like a flickering flame that looks like it’s about to go out.

But God wants us to burn bright with the light of His love and peace, that even though we may face difficulties on every side and the darkness may be pressing in, we can be assured that the light He gives us through His Word, prayer, and each other, can extinguish those dark feelings and lead us through into bright victory and freedom.

So when you feel like your flame is flickering, or you want some inspiration, come read a lighter and you’ll see the Lord will fan your flame. You’ll burn bright with the confidence that the Lord, your Maker, is right with you and has everything you need in hand. Our God is amazing! He is always present to light up our life when we call on Him!
