I've just turned 40. Shocking isn't it? Does this mean that I can now have afternoon naps? I wish! Anyhow, people say that you're as old as you feel. If that's the case then some days I feel like I'm 4 and other days 400.

The fact is we cannot live or be controlled by our feelings. Faith on the other hand believes that no matter what is felt, that we are being held by God's unconquerable and incomparable love. Don't get me wrong though, feelings are nice, but sometimes our feelings and emotions can pull us down and fight against the knowledge of truth that keeps us in freedom.

God believes in the feel good factor though. The scripture says that in God's presence is fullness of joy and at His right hand are pleasures evermore. Jesus has done EVERYTHING possible to make a way for us to enjoy a consistently blessed and fruitful relationship with our heavenly Father. No matter what your age or what you may go through or feel KNOW (through God's gift of faith) that nothing can ever separate you from His love in Christ.
